
2017 ANZAC Day Remembrance Service
Tuesday 25th April
Burwood RSL Sub Branch, Club Burwood RSL and Burwood Council have again joined forces to hold a commemorativeCentenary Year’s Service at the Memorial Arch in Burwood Park on Anzac Day, Tuesday 25th April, 2017. The theme of the service will be the Battle of Beersheba. Service commences at 6:30am and concludes at 7:30am.
Buses will transfer attendees from the RSL to Burwood Park from 5:30am.
MARCH: All persons marching are to be assembled on the corner of Church Street and Burwood Road by 6am.
The Club welcomes descendants of any Burwood WW1 defence personnel to march and to also contact the Club for possible greater involvement in the service.
The Centenary Service will be followed by a complimentary breakfast for all attendees at Club Burwood RSL, 96 Shaftesbury Road, Burwood. Club will open 7.30am, breakfast concludes 9am. Courtesy buses will transport attendees to the breakfast and to Burwood train station for those wishing to attend the Sydney City march.

Club will be open from 9am, all promotions will proceed as usual.
7:30am - 9am - Complimentary breakfast for all Anzac Service Attendees
1pm - 5pm - 2 - UP will be held in the Entertainment Dome with all monies being donated to the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation.
2pm - 6pm - FREE ENTERTAINMENT with ATP DELUXE playing all the hits from the 60's to today including pop, rock, reggae, blues, pop & soul hits!

Brad Johns has had a hugely successful music career spanning over 20 years and has worked with Lee Kernaghan, Ian Moss, Doug Williams, Rex Goh and many more!
As a singer and guitarist his talents are highly regarded by both his musical peers and venues alike with styles from middle of the road, rock, blues, jazz, country and of course, Aussie rock! This is a fantastic way to spend your Anzac Day!
